This creamy keto BLT dip is an awesomely delicious and unique dip that will be a huge hit every time you serve it!
When you want a true crowd pleaser, this creamy keto BLT dip is an awesome choice. I love making appetizer dips! They’re a great addition to barbecues and parties. They’re also an awesome choice to serve for special occasion and holiday meals. This BLT dip is amazingly creamy and flavorful, and it’s such a pretty dip too!
Let’s talk about the ingredients that make this dip so creamy!
Often when I make veggie dips, I’ll use a combination of mayonnaise and sour cream. I’ll usually use an equal amount of both, and I love that combo. For this dip, we are using that combination, but we’re also adding cream cheese. Yum! The cream cheese helps to make this dip rich and creamy, and it makes it a bit thicker than other dips. For the mayonnaise, I used the Chosen Foods brand avocado oil mayonnaise. When buying mayo, I recommend checking the nutrition labels to ensure there is no added sugar or oils you don’t want. I prefer to use full fat cream cheese and full fat sour cream. When mixing these ingredients, you’ll want to start with softened cream cheese. This will help ensure your dip comes out smooth and creamy!
What other ingredients go into this creamy keto BLT dip?
Once you’ve mixed your cream cheese, mayo, and sour cream together, you’ll add your seasonings. For this dip, we’re combining garlic and onion powder, paprika, dried chives, and dried parsley. If you’d like to substitute with fresh herbs, you sure can! If so, you’ll want to use 1 tablespoon of fresh chives and fresh parsley in place of the 1 teaspoon of dried. For a fun change up, you could also substitute smoked paprika for the regular paprika if you’d like to add a smoky element to your dip. I add about 2/3 of my fried and crumbled bacon along with 2 of my seeded and diced tomatoes to the dip itself. Then, after spreading the dip evenly into a pie plate, I top it with all of the chopped lettuce, and the remaining bacon, and finally with the last seeded and diced tomato.
How can I serve this creamy keto BLT dip?
You have some awesome keto options for serving this dip! For dippers, raw veggies are a perfect choice. Some great low carb options include broccoli, cauliflower, celery, cherry or grape tomatoes, cucumbers, mushrooms, radishes, and sliced bell peppers. Sliced cheese and meats such as pepperoni or salami also make for great dippers. Some other options for dippers include cheese whisps, keto crackers, and pork rinds. You can also use chicken skin and make your own chicken cracklings if you’d like. This dip can also be served as a condiment to top burgers, keto sandwiches, and lettuce wraps with.
