I love making homemade salad dressings. Making your own dressings is quick and easy and you’ll always know exactly what is in them. So many store-bought dressings contain artificial ingredients, sugar, and preservatives. This keto honey mustard dressing is quick and easy to make, contains only keto low carb ingredients, and is awesomely delicious!
Let’s talk about the ingredients in this keto honey mustard dressing!
This dressing starts with keto mayonnaise. I like the taste of the Chosen Foods brand avocado oil mayo, so I use it as my main mayonnaise. You can use any keto brand you’d like. If you’d like, you can even make your own! The next ingredient is mustard. I used half Dijon mustard and half yellow mustard for my dressing. Feel free to use all Dijon, all yellow, or any keto mustard you’d like. I love using fresh lemon juice in recipes and try to always keep a lemon or two on hand. In a pinch, you can always use bottled lemon juice. The last ingredient is….NOT honey!😊That would put the carb count over the top! Two tablespoons of honey contain 35 grams of net carbs, while our keto sugar contains zero grams of net carbs. Woo-hoo!
How can I use this keto honey mustard dressing?
You have numerous options for serving this dressing. It is an awesome salad dressing for a green salad. It would top any lettuce or spinach salad perfectly. This dressing also works great as a dipping sauce. You can dip your keto vegetables in it, or use is as a dipping sauce for your favorite keto chicken nuggets, sausages, or any cooked meat. You could even drizzle some of this dressing over your favorite cooked vegetables. It could even be used in place of mayonnaise in your favorite lettuce wraps or keto sandwiches. Ingredients
- 1 cup keto mayonnaise
- ¼ cup mustard
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar substitute (Swerve)
Instructions
1. In a small mixing bowl, combine all dressing ingredients.
2. Stir or whisk until ingredients are combined and mixture is smooth.
3. Serve immediately or store, in a covered container, in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
