You’ll be amazed at how easy and delicious this homemade keto ranch dip is! This dressing is made with a homemade ranch seasoning recipe, so you really get two recipes with this dip! Everyone should have some go-to appetizer dip recipes, and this is one of ours. I hope you and your family enjoy it as much as we do!
Why should I make my own ranch seasoning?
Packaged seasoning mixes, including packaged ranch seasoning mixes, often contain extra ingredients. Some of these include artificial colors and flavors, maltodextrin, msg, preservatives, sugar, and more. When you make your own, you can be assured of exactly what you are getting. It’s also a money saver to make your own dressing. Two more great reasons to make your own ranch seasoning is that it’s quick and easy to do; and it’s incredibly delicious!
Let’s talk about the ingredients in this homemade keto ranch dip!
Our ranch seasoning contains parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, chives, dill, salt, and pepper. I used all dried seasonings, so this recipe can be doubled, tripled, or more and stored in a cool, dry place. This way you’ll always have some on hand when your recipe calls for ranch seasoning or ranch dressing mix. The recipe, as written, is approximately equal to one packet of packaged seasoning mix. After making the seasoning, you’ll add keto mayonnaise with sour cream. I use the Chosen Foods brand of avocado oil mayonnaise, but you can use your favorite keto mayonnaise for this recipe. After you stir in your seasoning, you’ll want to store your dip, in a covered container, in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours or overnight before serving. This will allow the flavors to mix and will give your dip the best flavor.
How can I serve this homemade keto ranch dip?
There are some awesome low carb keto options you have for serving this dip! You can serve it with your favorite keto raw veggies. Some suggestions include broccoli, cauliflower, celery, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, and sliced bell peppers. You could also use cheese whisps or pork rinds as dippers. If you have a favorite keto cracker, that would work too! And don’t forget the option to use as a dip for your keto chicken nuggets or even as a fun topping for your burgers!

Helpful Hints:
*For the best results, refrigerate dip for 2-4 hours, or overnight, before serve to allow flavors to mix.
*If you’d like to make ranch dressing instead of ranch dip, use the ranch seasoning in the recipe. Then add ½ cup keto buttermilk, ½ cup keto mayonnaise, and ½ cup sour cream. To make ½ cup keto buttermilk, add 1½ teaspoons of white distilled vinegar to ½ cup heavy whipping cream and let set for 5 minutes.
