This horseradish guacamole is amazing! My family loved this fun twist on one of our favorite appetizer dips and I think you and your family will too!
We found a new family favorite with this horseradish guacamole! This dish takes traditional guacamole up a few notches and gives it a great kick of flavor! I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we do!
How do I love avocados? Let me count the ways!
Avocados are an awesome keto food choice! They are low carb and are a great way to get healthy fats into your diet. Avocados are high in fiber and are a great source of folate, potassium, and vitamins C, E, and K. You can eat your avocados plain, on top of your favorite keto salad or sandwich, or you can add them to numerous dishes, including sweets, to create an awesome creamy texture. We love the addition of avocado to keto chocolate mousse! I also wanted to share my newest kitchen helper find. I’ve seen this all-in-one avocado tool in the stores, and finally found it on sale. Oh my! If I knew how awesome it was, I would likely have bought it sooner and paid full price!😂It is used to cut your avocado, pit it, cut the flesh, then scoop it out! If you don’t already have one, I think you’ll love this little gadget!
What kind of horseradish should I use for this horseradish guacamole?
I love horseradish and almost always have a jar of raw horseradish in my refrigerator. It’s so convenient to have and use prepared horseradish. But my favorite horseradish is my homemade horseradish. You can use either prepared horseradish or homemade for this guacamole. If you’d like a creamy guacamole, you could even add some prepared creamy horseradish sauce. Since all brands of horseradish and all raw horseradish roots vary in their heat level, I recommend you taste your horseradish guacamole and add even more horseradish if you’d like!
How can I serve this horseradish guacamole?
You have some awesome keto options to use as dippers to serve this as an appetizer dip. A great choice is to use cheese whisps or pork rinds as dippers. You could use your favorite keto chips or crackers. Some great keto vegetable dipper options include raw bell peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, celery, cucumbers, and even mushrooms. Another fun choice would be to slice yourself up some cheese and use them as a dipper. Don’t ask me how I know just how delicious that last option tastes!😊
