This delicious keto creamy French dressing will make any salad extra special. In just 10 minutes, you can have this awesome dressing ready to serve!
French dressing is one of my husband’s favorite dressings, so I created the keto creamy French dressing for him! It is now one of our go-to dressings and family favorites. This is a delicious and low carb dressing I hope you’ll enjoy as much as we do!
Why should I make my own French salad dressing?
There are some wonderful reasons you would want to make your own French dressing. First, making this dressing is incredibly quick and easy to do. It takes just a handful of ingredients and 10 minutes to make this dressing. Second, when you make your own dressing, you know exactly what goes into it and can avoid ingredients you don’t want. Many salad dressings contain sugar, high fructose corn syrup, artificial colors and flavors, and oils that aren’t keto. Another reason to make your own French dressing is that homemade tastes far superior to any other dressing. Finally, when you make your own dressing, you can give it a taste and adjust ingredients and amounts to your liking. For instance, if you want your dressing a little sweeter, add a little more keto sugar. Want a smoky dressing, use smoked paprika instead of regular! Have fun making recipes your own!
Let’s talk about the ingredients in this keto creamy French dressing!
We start with keto mayonnaise and keto ketchup. You can use any brand of mayonnaise you’d like, or even use homemade if you’d prefer. I like the Chosen Foods brand avocado oil mayonnaise. For my ketchup, one of my favorites is the Primal Kitchen brand. They have a regular and a spicy ketchup. I love the spicy one but used the regular for this dressing. We then add olive oil and white wine vinegar to our dressing. You can substitute champagne vinegar if you’d like. For my keto sugar, I used the Swerve brand. It contains zero calories and zero net carbs. It also tastes, to me, just like regular sugar. For spices, we add some paprika, salt, and pepper. I recommend you taste your dressing and add more salt and pepper if you’d like.
How can I serve the keto creamy French dressing?
You have some great options for serving this French dressing. It works great as a salad dressing for most any green salad. You can use any type of lettuce or combination of lettuces for your salad, or you can use spinach or kale if you’d like. This French dressing can also be served as a dip for your favorite keto raw vegetables. Some great options include broccoli, cauliflower, cucumbers, or sliced peppers or radishes. If you’d like, you can use this dressing as a condiment to top your burgers, or keto wraps with. You can also drizzle a little of this dressing over cooked meats or vegetables to add some amazing flavor!
