Oh my, I can’t even begin to tell you how much we love this keto cranberry raspberry sauce! This stuff is amazing! Enjoy!
Even my family who normally doesn’t eat cranberry sauce loved this keto cranberry raspberry sauce! They even ate it for leftovers. Yay! I hope you and your family will enjoy this dish as much as we do!
Let’s talk about cranberries and raspberries!
Both cranberries and raspberries can easily, in moderation, be incorporated into a low carb keto plan! One cup of cranberries contains about 8 net grams of carbs, while one cup of raspberries contains approximately 7 net grams of carbs. Cranberries provide us with a source of copper, manganese, and vitamins A, C, E, and K. Raspberries contain folate, iron, magnesium, manganese, potassium, and vitamins C, E, and K. They’re also a good source of fiber. The cranberries, which are a bit bitter and sour, pair so well with the raspberries which are both tart and sweet. I’ve made many homemade cranberry sauces, and this is one of my all-time favorites! I hope you’ll enjoy it as well!
What other ingredients go into this keto cranberry raspberry sauce?
We use a combination of keto brown and granulated sugar to make this delicious cranberry sauce. This combination brings amazing flavor and sweetness to our dish. I used the Swerve brand for both my sugars. These sugars contain zero calories and zero net carbs. They are also delicious and taste quite similar to regular brown and granulated sugar. To our cranberries, raspberries, and keto sugars, we add pumpkin pie spice, orange extract, and vanilla extract. I love the ease of using prepared pumpkin pie spice; but you can use homemade pumpkin pie spice if you’d like. The orange extract brings a fun zing of flavor while helping to keep the carb count down in this dish, and the vanilla extract rounds out all the other flavors perfectly.
How can I serve this keto cranberry raspberry sauce?
You have some awesome options for serving this sauce. It is the perfect Thanksgiving addition to serve with your turkey dinner! But it also pairs nicely with beef, chicken, pork, and seafood dishes. You can use this sauce in place of jelly to top your favorite keto biscuits, bread, chaffles, pancakes, and waffles with! You can also serve this sauce as a condiment for your favorite keto burgers, sandwiches, and wraps. As a dessert option, this sauce makes a great topping for keto cheesecake, ice cream, brownies, or cakes!
