This buffalo ranch egg salad will be a huge hit every time you serve it! It’s perfectly creamy with an awesome addition of heat from the Buffalo sauce. You can use regular or hot buffalo sauce to create the perfect heat level for your egg salad!
Let’s talk about eggs!
Eggs are an awesome keto food choice! They have been referred to as the “perfect” food because they’re an awesome source of protein and contain many essential amino acids. They’re also low in calories and carbs. I grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin, and my grandma, who lived just down the road from us, raised chickens and always provided us with fresh eggs. I love eggs and love the many ways they can be prepared. You can bake, boil, fry, poach, or scramble eggs. And then you can further choose the exact doneness you prefer for your eggs. For our egg salad, we’re using hard boiled eggs. When I make a small batch of hard boiled eggs, I use my Dash rapid egg cooker, which is one of my favorite small appliances. But for larger batches, I make my hard boiled eggs by cooking them on the stovetop.
How do I make the dressing for this buffalo ranch egg salad?
I love egg salad and so does my family. It’s one of the things I can make and always know it will be eaten every day until it’s gone!😊I often experiment with different ingredients and different dressings to make egg salad, and I’m so excited to share this Buffalo ranch version with you! For the dressing, we combine mayonnaise, Frank’s Buffalo wings sauce, fresh chives, ranch dressing, dill pickle juice, salt, and pepper. Yum! As written, this is a mild to medium spicy egg salad. If you’d like to increase the heat level, Frank’s also makes an extra hot cayenne pepper sauce. I love the addition of fresh chopped chives to this dressing, but if you’d like, you can substitute with 2 teaspoons of dried chives. You can also give your egg salad a taste and add more salt and pepper to taste.

You have some awesome low carb options for serving this egg salad! It’s a perfect choice for lunch, brunch, or dinner. If you’d like to serve this egg salad as a sandwich, you can serve it with keto bread, biscuits, chaffles, or English muffins. It’s also the perfect filling for low carb lettuce wraps.
