Do you have any tips for making this cheesy bacon and ham crustless quiche?
This is a fun and easy recipe, but I do have a few tips so yours will turn out perfectly every time! First, you’ll want to spray your pie plate with oil, so your quiche won’t stick to the pie plate. I often have cooked bacon in the refrigerator to use in recipes. But if making bacon for this dish, I reserve 1 tablespoon of bacon grease and use it, in place of butter, to saute my vegetables in. Next, if the ham you are using is packaged in water, you’ll want to have your ham as dry as possible to avoid having a watery quiche. I press mine between paper towels. Last, you’ll know your quiche is done when the top is golden brown, and a knife inserted into the center of the quiche comes out clean. I recommend letting your quiche set for 5-10 minutes before cutting and serving.
What can I serve with this cheesy bacon and ham crustless quiche?
You have some great keto options for serving this quiche. It is a filling dish and would make a meal all on its own! You can always top your quiche with some sour cream or chopped tomatoes, or serve it with some sliced avocadoes. You can also pair this quiche alongside a nice salad or keto soup. If you’d like, you could add your favorite keto bread, biscuits, or English muffins. Another fun idea is to serve this quiche with a fresh and light dessert such as berries with keto whipped cream!
