This creamy keto horseradish dressing is amazingly creamy and delicious. Serve this as a dressing, marinade, or sauce and take your favorite dishes to the next level!
It takes just 10 minutes to make this awesome creamy keto horseradish dressing. We combine a few simple ingredients to make this dressing, but the combination results in an amazingly flavorful dressing. I hope you’ll enjoy this dressing as much as we do!
Let’s talk about the ingredients that go into this creamy keto horseradish dressing!
Our dressing starts with heavy whipping cream. You’ll want to beat your heavy whipping cream until medium peaks form. Medium peaks mean when you remove your beaters, they form peaks which hold their shape a bit but the tips curl down and don’t hold their shape. In a separate bowl, we combine keto mayonnaise with prepared horseradish, white wine vinegar, parsley, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. I used the Chosen Foods brand avocado oil mayonnaise, but you can use your favorite keto mayo for this dressing. You can buy prepared horseradish or can even make homemade, using fresh horseradish root, if you’d prefer. If you’d like to use fresh parsley, you’ll want to use 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley in place of the 2 teaspoons of dried. The Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper perfectly round out the flavors of our dressing.
Why would I want to make my own dressing?
You have some great reasons for making your own dressings. First, it’s amazingly quick and easy to make homemade dressings. Next, when you make your own dressings, you’ll know exactly what ingredients go into them and you can avoid unwanted ingredients. For this dressing you can use any keto mayonnaise you’d like. You’ll want to check your nutritional labels to ensure there is no added sugar or oils you don’t want in your mayo. Perhaps one of the best reasons to make your own dressings is that you can tailor the ingredients and amounts of ingredients to suit your flavor preferences. You could substitute cilantro or chopped chives for the parsley for a fun change. For this dressing, you can give it a taste and add another tablespoon or so of prepared horseradish if you’d like. You can also add more mustard or salt and pepper to taste.
How can I serve this creamy keto horseradish dressing?
You have some great low carb keto options for serving this dressing! This makes for an amazing dressing for your favorite green salads using any kind of lettuce or spinach. My favorite salads include starting with iceberg lettuce, then topping it with some cooked ground turkey or cooked and chopped chicken, then adding my favorite toppings. Some great options include diced or shredded cheese, diced or sliced avocado, hard boiled eggs, sliced olives, or tomatoes. You can also use this dressing as a marinade for meats or vegetables. Another great option is to serve this dressing as a sauce and drizzle it over cooked meats or vegetables.
