What kind of spinach and artichokes did you use for this crockpot keto spinach artichoke dip?
I used fresh spinach for this dip. You simply need to chop or tear it into bite size pieces and toss it in the crockpot with the other ingredients. There is no need to cook it before adding it to the crockpot. You can use frozen spinach if you’d like. Just make sure you thaw it and then squeeze out as much liquid as you can. If you don’t, you may end up with a watery dip. For my artichokes, I used quartered jarred artichokes. Make sure you drain your artichokes well, then simply cut them into bite size pieces before adding them to your crockpot. I used a 4-quart crockpot for my dip. It is the perfect size for this dip.
Is this dip difficult to make?
This spinach artichoke dip is ridiculously easy to make! You simply prepare your ingredients and place them all in your crockpot and let your crockpot do its thing! One of the great things about using a crockpot is you have freed up oven space and you can do other things while your crockpot is heating your dip. You will want to have your cream cheese softened before adding it. It also works better to cube it before putting it in the crockpot. After you’ve added all your ingredients, you can cook your dip on high for 1 hour or on low for 2-3 hours. Stir your dip once or twice while its cooking to combine all your delicious ingredients.

There are quite a few great keto options to serve alongside this dip. You can serve this dip with keto vegetables. Some great low carb options include broccoli, cauliflower, celery, cucumbers, and sliced radishes or peppers. I like to use cheese whisps and think they’re perfect for this dip. Ingredients
- 12 ounce jar quartered artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
- 10 ounces fresh spinach, chopped
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened and cubed
- ½ cup keto mayonnaise
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
