Let’s talk about everything bagel seasoning!
I can’t remember when I first tried everything bagel seasoning; but I’ve been a fan of it from that first taste! Although you may see a slight variation depending on the specific brand you use, the main ingredients in everything bagel seasoning include black and white sesame seeds, minced dried garlic, minced dried onion, poppy seeds, and salt or sea salt flakes. Yum! Everything bagel seasoning is a versatile seasoning mix that goes well with a wide variety of dishes. It is amazing with chicken, both bone-in and boneless chicken. It is also a tasty option for fish, pork, and seafood. Your veggies will also get a big kick of flavor when you add this seasoning to them. Some other great options include using this seasoning with appetizer dips, on deviled eggs, with all kinds of eggs and egg casseroles, or even as a fun topping for salads.
How do I make this everything bagel baked chicken?
This is an incredibly easy dish to prepare, but results in an amazingly delicious juicy chicken! You’ll want to spray your baking dish to help ensure your chicken doesn’t stick to the pan. My go-to spray is avocado oil spray. I then like to sprinkle some seasoning onto the bottom of the baking dish and place the chicken, skin side up, on top of the seasoning. Press the chicken down onto the seasoning and the bottom of your chicken will be coated with seasoning. Then simply sprinkle the remaining seasoning over the chicken. This is a quick and easy way to season both sides of your chicken! Topping each piece of chicken with butter helps to create a nicely browned and delicious skin! You’ll know when your chicken is done when the top is browned and a thermometer measures 165 degrees.
