Let’s talk about our yogurt dill sauce!
I like to make the sauce for our burgers first. Then the sauce can set, and the flavors will meld together while the burgers are being prepared. We start our sauce with keto Greek yogurt. I used the Two Good brand for my yogurt. It’s a brand of yogurt which is low carb and it is delicious. You can use any keto plain yogurt you’d like. Next we add dried dill, fresh lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. If you’d like, you can use fresh dill. You’ll want to use 2 tablespoons of fresh dill in place of the 2 teaspoons of dried. I love using fresh lemon juice in dishes, but you can substitute bottled if you’d prefer. I recommend you give your sauce a taste and add more salt and pepper if you’d like.
What ingredients go into these Greek turkey burgers?
We combine some awesome fresh and tasty ingredients to our turkey to make these Greek inspired turkey burgers. For the turkey, I used a 93% lean mixture as it’s my favorite! You could also use an 85% ground turkey for your burgers. To our turkey, we add some crumbled feta cheese. Feta is a brined Greek soft cheese made from sheep’s milk or from a combination of sheep and goat milk. It has a nice tangy and salty flavor! Next, we add some finely diced red onion which gives our burger both fantastic taste and texture. For our seasonings, we add parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. The finishing touch to our Greek burgers is that we fry them in olive oil. Yum!

We like to add lettuce, dill pickles and sliced avocados, radishes, and tomatoes to ours. You can serve these burgers with your favorite keto bread or with some chaffles. It also makes for a great lettuce wrap option. There are any number of keto sides you can serve with these turkey burgers.
