When you want a crowd pleasing appetizer dip, this Greek yogurt ranch dip is a perfect choice! It’s a fresh and amazingly delicious dip!

This Greek yogurt ranch dip is amazingly creamy and delicious! We start this dip by making a homemade ranch seasoning. Then the combination of Greek yogurt and sour cream adds great flavor and makes this dip incredibly rich and creamy! Enjoy!

Let’s talk about our homemade ranch seasoning!
I love making homemade seasoning mixes, and ranch seasoning is one of my favorites. One of the best reasons for making your own mixes is that you can avoid unwanted ingredients often added to packaged spice mixes. Some of the most common include artificial colors and flavors, maltodextrin, msg, preservatives, and sugar. For our ranch seasoning, in addition to our spices, we use all dried herbs, so you likely have all the ingredients in your pantry or spice rack already. We combine parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, chives, dill, salt, and pepper to make this ranch seasoning mix. You can also make a larger batch of this mix if you’d like. You’ll simply want to store your mix in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. You can then use your ranch seasoning mix to make dips and dressings or in any recipe calling for ranch seasoning.

What other ingredients go into this Greek yogurt ranch dip?
To create the creamy base for this delicious dip, we combine keto Greek yogurt and sour cream. Although Greek yogurt and sour cream are both creamy and both have a tangy taste, they do have distinct differences. Greek yogurt is more tart in its flavor while sour cream is much milder and richer. In terms of texture, sour cream is creamier and smoother than Greek yogurt. When buying Greek yogurt, you’ll want to give special attention to the ingredients and to the carb count. You’ll want to make sure you’re buying plain full-fat Greek yogurt and that there is no added sugar. There are quite a few great options you can choose from. A couple of my favorite brands are Two Good and Fage. Two Good also makes a variety of flavored yogurts also without added sugar. For the sour cream, I highly recommend buying full fat sour cream.

What are some ways I can serve this Greek yogurt ranch dip?
You have some awesome low carb options for serving this dip! A great choice is to serve it with raw veggies. Some low carb options include broccoli, cauliflower, celery, cucumbers, mushrooms, radishes, and sliced bell peppers. Although a tad higher in carbs, when eaten in moderation, carrots are also a good choice. You can also use your favorite keto chips or crackers as dippers. Another fun idea is to use sliced cheese or meats such as pepperoni or salami for dippers. You can also use this dip as a condiment for burgers, keto sandwiches, and lettuce wraps. It also pairs nicely with chicken, fish, and cooked egg dishes. You can also use it in place of mayonnaise in dishes such as deviled eggs!
