This keto baked Amish chicken is perfectly seasoned and topped with butter! You’ll want to make this quick, easy, and delicious recipe a regular in your home.
I made up this recipe a long time ago. I wanted to create a low carb chicken dish that would result in juicy chicken with a crispy crust. We make this dish often as it has become a family favorite. I hope you and your family enjoy it and add it in to your recipe rotation as well!
Can I use chicken pieces other than thighs for this recipe?
I have used chicken thighs for this keto Amish baked chicken recipe and I’ve also used a whole cut up chicken. Both turned out great. If your grocery store sells whole chickens but not whole cut up chicken, did you know that the meat department will often cut up the whole chicken for you if you ask? It’s a lot easier than doing it yourself!
What can I do with the extra juice after the chicken cooks?
This is some delicious and tasty juice! You can spoon a little over your chicken…or spoon a lot over your chicken. You could also make some mashed cauliflower and use it as a gravy for that dish. This juice can also be drizzled over some cooked vegetables to give them an extra boost of flavor.
What can I serve with this chicken?
This chicken is quick and easy enough to serve as an everyday meal; but it is a beautiful and delicious dish that could also be served when having company or for a holiday meal. A simple green salad would be a great starter for this meal, perhaps topped with some olives and cheese or even chopped avocados. This chicken would pair well with mashed or riced cauliflower, green beans, asparagus, or your favorite low carb sides. Have fun with all the keto options available and change it up with your family’s favorite side dishes!
