Keto Dijon ranch dip is quick and easy to make and is incredibly creamy and flavorful!
I love making appetizer dips and this keto Dijon ranch dip was a huge hit at my house. In fact, I think I need to throw a party just so I can make this for my friends! We start with a homemade ranch seasoning mixture, then add just a few simple but delicious ingredients to make this dip. I hope you and your family will enjoy this dip as much as we do!
Let’s talk about our homemade ranch seasoning mix!
There are some great reasons why you’d want to make your own ranch seasoning. First, when you make your own, you’ll know exactly what ingredients go into it. You can also avoid unwanted ingredients often added to packaged seasoning mixes. And when you make your own mix, you can adjust the ingredients for your taste preference. It’s also quick and easy to make your own seasoning mix and is a money saver! For our ranch seasoning, we combine parsley, garlic and onion powder, chives, dill, salt, and pepper. I used all dried herbs and spices for this dip. If you’d like, you can easily double or triple this recipe or make a big batch of it! To make a big batch, you’ll combine the following: ¾ cup of parsley, ¼ cup of garlic and onion powder, 2 tablespoons of chives and dill, and 1 tablespoon of salt and pepper.
What other ingredients go into this keto Dijon ranch dip?
To create the creamy base for this dip, we combine equal parts keto mayonnaise and sour cream. When buying mayo, you’ll want to make sure there is no added sugar or oils that you don’t want. I recommend using full fat sour cream for this dip. Ok, I recommend it for everything!😊I used Dijon mustard for my dip, but you can use yellow mustard if you’d prefer. You can also use a combination of Dijon and yellow and can even use spicy brown mustard if you want to add a little kick to your dip. For the perfect balance, we add just a little keto sugar to our dip. You can serve this dip immediately, but if time allows, the flavors will meld nicely together if this dip chills in the refrigerator for a couple of hours or overnight.
What are some ways I can serve this keto Dijon ranch dip?
You have some awesome keto options for serving this dip! Raw veggies are always a perfect choice for serving with cold dips. Some of the best low carb options include broccoli, cauliflower, celery, cherry or grape tomatoes, cucumbers, mushrooms, radishes, and sliced bell peppers. You can also use cheese whisps, keto crackers, and pork rinds for dippers. Another fun idea for dippers is using sliced cheese or meats such as pepperoni and sliced sausage. You can also use this dip as a condiment for keto burgers, sandwiches, and lettuce wraps. I’ve got one more great option for you for serving this dip. If you add a little heavy whipping cream to thin out this dip to your desired consistency, you can serve it as an amazingly creamy and delicious salad dressing.
