If you’d like a sweeter drink, you can add more keto sugar. For both my sugars, I used the Swerve brand. This sugar has zero calories and zero net carbs. It’s also incredibly similar in its sweetness level to regular sugar. I used an equal amount of keto brown and keto granulated sugar. You can add more of either the brown or granulated sugar to increase the sweetness level of your drink.

This is an incredibly easy recipe, but I do have a few tips for making it so it will turn out perfectly. First, after juicing your lemons, I recommend you strain your juice so you won’t end up with any pulp in your drink. Next, when adding your whole cloves and whole allspice, you can just toss them with the cinnamon sticks into the saucepan. You’ll then want to strain your spiced lemonade and discard the cloves, allspice, and cinnamon. Alternately, you can place your cloves and allspice in a small piece of cheesecloth, tie it with some kitchen string, and add it to the saucepan. Then you can simply discard the cheesecloth and the whole cinnamon sticks before serving your drink. Last, if you’d like, you can easily double this recipe. You will want to refrigerate any leftover lemonade.

Keto Hot Spiced Lemonade

Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- ¾ cup fresh lemon juice
- ½ cup brown sugar substitute (Swerve)
- ½ cup granulated sugar substitute (Swerve)
- ½ teaspoon whole cloves
- ¼ teaspoon whole allspice
- 2 cinnamon sticks
Instructions
1. In a medium saucepan, add all ingredients. Stir to combine.
2. Bring to a boil over high heat. Decrease heat to medium and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
