This keto napa and green cabbage slaw is my new favorite coleslaw! It’s amazingly creamy, crunchy, and delicious!
When you want a fun and delicious side salad, this keto napa and green cabbage slaw is an awesome choice. I can’t even believe how much I love this slaw mixture! We combine napa and green cabbage with red peppers, sliced almonds, and an amazingly delicious dressing to make this coleslaw. I hope you’ll love this dish as much as I do!
Let’s talk about the ingredients in our coleslaw!
We combine two different types of cabbage to make this coleslaw. These are napa cabbage and green cabbage. Napa cabbage looks more like leaf lettuce and grows in an oblong shape, while green cabbage has a round shape. The combination of these cabbages makes for an awesomely delicious coleslaw. Napa cabbage brings a slightly sweet aspect to our slaw and green cabbage brings a deep and peppery flavor. To our cabbage, we add diced red peppers and sliced almonds. I love the sweetness that diced red peppers bring to this slaw, but you can use a combination of red and green peppers if you’d prefer. We then add sliced almonds to bring some amazing flavor and texture to our slaw. If you’d like, you could substitute slivered almonds for your slaw.
How do I make the dressing for this keto napa and green cabbage slaw?
The dressing for our slaw is incredibly easy to make. It’s also an incredibly creamy and delicious dressing. We start with a combination of keto mayonnaise and sour cream. This creates a wonderfully creamy and delicious base for our dressing. I used the Chosen Foods brand avocado oil for my mayonnaise. When buying mayonnaise, you’ll want to read nutrition labels to ensure there is no added sugar or other ingredients you don’t want. To our mayo and sour cream, we add apple cider vinegar and Dijon mustard. This gives our dressing the perfect amount of tangy flavor. To balance our flavors, we add a little keto granulated sugar. I used the Swerve brand as it contains zero calories and zero net carbs, and it’s delicious! It is also quite similar in sweetness to regular sugar. For seasonings, we add celery seeds, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper.
What are some dishes I can pair with this keto napa and green cabbage slaw?

This slaw can be served with anything from a burger or a keto sandwich to a steak or lobster! A great option is to serve this slaw with some pulled chicken or pulled pork.
