Keto pumpkin pie spiced whipped cream is amazingly delicious! It’s a perfect topping for all your Autumn and Thanksgiving desserts.
I love making homemade keto sweets for my family, and they love this keto pumpkin pie spiced whipped cream. Autumn is my favorite season. I love the changing leaves, cooler temperatures, and the start of all things pumpkin! This whipped cream is full of flavor and will be a welcomed sweet treat all year round! Enjoy!
Let’s talk about heavy whipping cream!
I almost always have a carton or two of heavy whipping cream in my refrigerator. It’s a great way to add some fat to your day and it can easily be incorporated into all kinds of keto dishes. Heavy whipping cream is the cream portion of milk that rises to the top of milk due to its high fat content. Fun fact for the day! In order to be classified as heavy whipping cream, it must contain at least 36 percent of fat. That is what gives it such incredible richness! Heavy whipping cream can be whipped, as with this recipe, to make homemade whipped cream. You can also use it to make homemade butter. Heavy whipping cream adds richness to all kinds of sweets and makes for an awesome coffee creamer. But it also adds amazing richness to savory dishes such as casseroles, sauces, and soups!
What other ingredients go into this keto pumpkin pie spiced whipped cream?
To our heavy whipping cream, we add just a few simple but delicious ingredients. We add keto powdered sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla to make this awesome whipped cream. I used the Swerve brand for my sugar. It contains zero calories and zero net carbs, but it’s amazingly similar in its sweetness level to regular sugar. You can use your favorite keto sugar, but you may have to adjust the amount as keto sugars vary in their sweetness levels. I find that using 1½ teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice adds the perfect spice level for my taste, but you can add even more if you’d like! The vanilla also adds amazing flavor to this whipped cream. You can substitute with maple extract if you’d like to change up the flavor! If you’d like, you can also double this recipe. Just make sure you use a large mixing bowl.
What are some ways I can serve this keto pumpkin pie spiced whipped cream?
You have some great low carb options for serving this whipped cream! It makes for a delicious quick and easy sweet all on its own. If you’d like, you can also sprinkle some additional pumpkin pie spice or fresh grated nutmeg on top. If you want to add a chocolate element, you can top your whipped cream with some grated keto chocolate. I often use keto chocolate chips when I do this. This whipped cream is a perfect topping for all your favorite keto desserts including brownies, cakes, cheesecakes, mousse, and pies. For a breakfast option, you can top your keto chaffles, pancakes, and waffles with this whipped cream. You can also top your smoothies with this whipped cream.
