Yes, you can make an awesome keto pumpkin spice latte at home and in just 10 minutes! This recipe is Autumn in a mug!
I have always enjoyed a great latte and knew I needed to create a recipe for a keto pumpkin spice latte. You can absolutely make your favorite recipes while maintaining a low carb keto plan. This recipe may help to convince you of that! I hope you enjoy this delicious drink all year long!
Let’s talk about the ingredients in this keto pumpkin spice latte!
This delicious recipe contains just 8 ingredients and takes only 10 minutes to make. I used unsweetened coconut milk for this latte, but you could substitute unsweetened almond milk if you’d like. The heavy whipping cream adds the perfect amount of richness to this drink. Make sure you use pumpkin puree and not pumpkin pie mix for this drink. Canned pumpkin pie mix contains sugar and is high in carbs. The vanilla extract adds a depth of flavor to this drink. I used Swerve granulated sugar for my latte because it is my favorite brand! It contains zero calories and zero net carbs! Pumpkin pie spice and a pinch of salt are all the seasonings needed to make a perfect pumpkin spice latte. You can use any coffee you’d like, but I do recommend using a strong coffee for the best results!
Is it difficult to make my own keto whipped topping?
If you want to top this awesome drink with whipped cream, you’ll be amazed how quick and easy it is to make your own. By making homemade whipped cream, you’ll know exactly what is in it and it tastes so much better than any store bought topping! I suggest placing your mixing bowl and beaters in the freezer to chill for 20 minutes prior to using. After they’re chilled, add 1 cup of heavy whipping cream to the bowl. Then add 2 tablespoons of your favorite keto powdered sugar. I use Swerve powdered sugar. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the mixture. Beat for 4-5 minutes, or until stiff peaks form. Once you make your own, you’ll never want any other kind!
