Let’s talk about our homemade keto sweetened condensed milk!
Since we’re making homemade keto sweetened condensed milk to make this creamer, you’re actually getting two recipes from this creamer recipe! I love this keto sweetened condensed milk and use it in a variety of dishes. Regular sweetened condensed milk is loaded with sugar. We make ours low carb and it’s also incredibly sweet. Most homemade sweetened condensed milk is made using whole milk or a combination of whole milk and heavy whipping cream. To help keep our carb count down, we’re using all heavy whipping cream. We’re also using keto sugar which contains zero calories and zero carbs. After removing our mixture from the stove, we then add our butter and vanilla which give this dish incredible creaminess and incredible vanilla flavor! I like to let my keto sweetened condensed milk cool off a bit before moving on to finish our creamer.
What other ingredients go into this keto vanilla coffee creamer!
Although the keto sweetened condensed milk is the star of this creamer, it does need a little help to create the perfect taste and texture. We start by adding heavy whipping cream and unsweetened almond milk. These thin out our creamer to create the perfect consistency. You can substitute the almond milk with coconut milk or even with macadamia milk if you’d prefer. If you choose to use coconut milk, you’ll want to make sure you’re using the kind in a carton and not the kind in a can. Also, whichever you use, you’ll want to make sure it’s unsweetened. Although we add vanilla to our sweetened condensed milk, we add more to create the perfect vanilla taste for this creamer. A good thing to know about this creamer is that it will thicken up further after you refrigerate it for a few hours.
Why would I want to make my own keto vanilla coffee creamer?
You have some great reasons for making your own coffee creamer. First, homemade creamer is amazingly creamy and flavorful! Next, when you make homemade creamer, you can be assured of exactly what ingredients are in your creamer and can avoid ingredients often found in store bought creamers. Some of these unwanted ingredients include artificial colors and flavors, preservatives, sugar, and even vegetable oil. Even sugar free creamers often contain artificial sweeteners that you want to avoid. Another great reason for making your own coffee creamer is that you can adjust ingredients for your taste preference. You can add more keto sugar if you’d like a sweeter creamer. If you’d like, you can use coconut or macadamia nut milk in place of the almond milk. You can also give your creamer a try and can add even more vanilla if you’d prefer it to have a stronger vanilla taste.

Could you add a Keto peppermint mocha syrup instead of the additional vanilla for a different flavor?
Lisa
Yes, you can add your favorite keto syrup to change up the flavor! Your creamer will be a little sweeter though since syrups are usually sweet.
