Mom’s quick and easy creamy guacamole is an awesomely delicious appetizer dip! It comes together in just 15 minutes and will impress every time you serve it!
Mom’s quick and easy creamy guacamole came about one evening when I had some avocados that needed to be used up and I wanted to make something special for my daughter, Rachael. She loved this guacamole and I’m excited to share the dish with you! This is a quick, easy, creamy, delicious guacamole I hope you’ll love as much as we do!
Let’s talk about avocados!🥑
I love avocados and think they are an amazing keto food choice! Avocados are a low carb food which are high in fiber and provide a great way to incorporate healthy fats into your diet. They are also a major source of folate, potassium, and vitamins B, C, E, and K. Avocados are also amazingly easy to add to meals. They can be eaten plain, in dips, or as a topping for keto salads, sandwiches, or wraps. Sliced avocados can also be served with keto casseroles or egg dishes, such as scrambled or fried eggs, or with keto crustless quiches. One of our favorite desserts, keto avocado chocolate mousse, is another fun way to add avocado to a sweet dessert! I used my all-in-one avocado tool when making this guacamole. If you don’t have one, you might want to check it out! It’s one of my favorite kitchen gadgets.
What other ingredients go into mom’s quick and easy creamy guacamole?
To our avocados, we add salsa, sour cream, lime juice, chili powder and salt. When buying salsa, I recommend you check the nutritional labels to ensure there is no sugar or other ingredients you don’t want in your salsa. Both red tomato-based salsas or green tomatillo-based salsas can be used for this dish. You can also use homemade salsa for this guacamole. One of the ways you can control the heat in this guacamole is you have the option of using mild, medium, or hot salsa for this dish. I love fresh lime juice, but you can use bottled lime juice if you’d prefer. Some chili powder and salt perfectly complete this dish! You can give your guacamole a taste and add more salt if you’d like.
How can I serve mom’s quick and easy creamy guacamole?
You have numerous keto options for serving this appetizer dip. For dippers, you can use keto vegetables. Some great options include raw bell peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, celery, cucumbers, or mushrooms. Another great option is to use cheese whisps or pork rinds as dippers. You can also slice some cheese and use the cheese slices as a dipper for this delicious guacamole.
