What ingredients go into this quick and easy taco dip!
I love making homemade seasoning mixes. This way, I know exactly what is going into them and I can adjust the amounts of my ingredients to get incredibly flavorful mixes. For our taco seasoning, we combine simple ingredients to make an incredibly delicious mixture that works perfectly in any recipe calling for taco seasoning! Our seasoning combines chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, salt, onion powder, pepper, and oregano which makes an amazingly delicious taco seasoning mix. If you’d like, you can use pre-made taco seasoning. Just check the nutrition label to ensure there are no added ingredients you don’t want. To this, we simply add an awesome base of keto mayonnaise and sour cream. This makes our dip amazingly creamy! My go-to mayonnaise is the Chosen Foods brand avocado oil mayo. You can use any keto mayonnaise you’d like. If you’d like, you can also use homemade mayonnaise.
Let’s talk about appetizers!
I love making and serving appetizers and appetizer dips. Oftentimes, you’ll see appetizers served before a larger meal is eaten. They are especially popular for holidays, parties, and get togethers. Personally, I love having family and friends sitting around talking and enjoying fun appetizers while I’m making the main meal. You can mix and match cold and hot appetizers along with appetizer dips to make for some fun food combinations. Sometimes, it’s also fun to make a whole meal out of appetizer dishes. Another option is to make a main course, something like keto chili, and serve it alongside a few appetizers. I often serve a variety of appetizers. But you can also pick a theme, such as Mexican food, and then make all Mexican appetizers to go with the main meal. There are really no rules about appetizers, except I think you should have lots of fun making them!😊
How can I serve this quick and easy taco dip?
You have some great keto options for serving this dip. It’s amazing served with keto raw vegetables. Some good choices include broccoli, cauliflower, celery, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, mushrooms, or sliced bell peppers or radishes. You can also serve this dip with keto crackers or with cheese whisps or pork rinds. If you’d like, you can even dip sliced cheese into this taco dip. Believe me, that is a delicious option I can speak to from experience! Another option is to use this dip as a fun condiment option. You can top burgers, keto sandwiches, and lettuce wraps with this dip. It could even be served alongside cooked meats or drizzled over cooked vegetables.
