This spicy chipotle pepper guacamole is an amazingly delicious smoky and spicy guacamole. This guacamole will be a hit every time you serve it!
You’ll add some spice to your life when you make this spicy chipotle pepper guacamole! We combine just a few delicious ingredients to make this awesome dish. And you can easily control the heat level of this guacamole. When my son first tasted this guacamole, he declared it a “10 out of 10!” Yay!
Let’s talk about avocados!
I love, love, love avocados! It’s a rarity when I don’t have a few in varying stages of ripeness setting out on my kitchen island. Avocados are an awesome keto food choice. They’re a great source of fiber, and this results in them being low in net carbs. Avocados also provide a wonderful way to incorporate healthy fats into your day. They’re a versatile food that can be eaten plain, either diced or sliced. I love to dice an avocado and sprinkle it with a little salt and a dash of hot sauce, then top it with a fried egg. Avocados make a great topping for salads, burgers, keto sandwiches, and lettuce wraps. We love to add sliced avocado and sliced tomato to bacon and eggs! You can also mash avocados to use in dips, dressings, and sauces. Another fun option is to stuff avocados with chicken or tuna salad.
What other ingredient go into this spicy chipotle pepper guacamole?
To our avocados, we add just a few simple but delicious ingredients. We add diced red onion, chopped chipotle peppers in adobe sauce, fresh lime juice, minced garlic cloves, salt, and pepper. Now that’s an awesome lineup of ingredients! You can substitute with a yellow onion if you’d prefer. You can also use bottled lime juice in place of the fresh. I didn’t add any cilantro to this guacamole, but you can add some to yours if you’d like. You can easily control the heat level in your guacamole by adjusting the amount of chipotle peppers in sauce you add. One tablespoon adds what I consider to be a medium spice level to this guacamole. You can start with this and add another tablespoon if you want a hotter guacamole. I love the presentation and extra heat that comes with drizzling this guacamole with some additional adobe sauce.
How can I serve this spicy chipotle pepper guacamole?
You have some awesome low carb options for serving this guacamole. For dippers, one of my favorite choices is raw vegetables. Some great choices include broccoli, cauliflower, celery, cherry or grape tomatoes, cucumbers, mushrooms, and sliced bell peppers or radishes. You can also use cheese whisps, keto crackers, or pork rinds as dippers. Sliced cheese or meats such as pepperoni or salami also work great as dippers. This spicy guacamole can also be served as an awesome topping for burgers, keto sandwiches, and keto lettuce wraps. It also makes a great topping for keto fajitas and tacos. Another fun option is to top chaffles or keto English muffins with this guacamole to make a low carb version of guacamole toast!
